National Literacy Trust Study
This report outlines the evaluation findings, highlighting improvements in students’ reading attainment and changes in teaching practices. Data was collected using the WRAT5 decoding subtest, providing standardised scores and reading ages before and after participating in the programme.
Northumbria University Study
An independent review of progress data from 2014 evaluated Lexonik Advance, formerly known as Sound Training. Data from multiple schools across the Spring, Summer, and Autumn terms revealed that students, regardless of year group or age, achieved an average reading age gain of 27 months.
