Easy Inference

Sometimes you can spend a lot of time teaching your learners something and not be sure if they truly understand it. Questions are essential for making sure learners comprehend the texts they read. That’s why we have this free list of easy inference questions.

We’re taking the guess work out of questioning your learners with 11 inference questions that will test your learner's comprehension of whatever they are reading. These prompts will encourage discussion in the classroom and start a dialogue about the books, poems or plays your learners are reading.

This is a vital step in the learning process because once you’re able to assess how much your learners have comprehended a test, then you will be able to either target their gaps or know for sure it’s time to move on to more in-depth analysis or more complicated texts.

If you’re looking to improve your learners’ reading overall, then check out Lexonik Advance, an intervention that produces an ‘average reading age gain of 27 months in just 6 weeks’. Or check out our wider range of programmes here.
