Stem Tennis

Stem Tennis is an engaging classroom game designed to be played in pairs. Each slide of this free resource will start a new game where a word stem will be displayed, and each participant will then take it in turns to say a word that includes said stem. The game goes for as long as the participants can rally words back and forth until someone can’t think of one.

Perfect for educators looking for a new way to engage learners in literacy. A bit of healthy competition is a great thing to introduce into the classroom, as a learner is more likely to remember a lesson that had a different approach to it than usual.
